How to get from Mykonos (Chora) town to Nammos Village?
Many of the tourists usually head to visit the famous Nammos village, a luxurious place with a beach club, hotel, and shopping experience for high-end brands. But, how to get to Nammos village from Mykonos town, Old Port, or New Port? I will show you the best and cheapest option, and how locals are doing.
Usually are are two ways:
- The first and most elegant is to take a taxi or transfer from Mykonos town to Nammos. This will come at a cost of at least 40 EUR for just a 4km drive that lasts 6 minutes. Yes, taxi in Mykonos is that expensive.
- The second option, very cheap and reliable, is to take a bus from Fabrika bus station to Nammos. It will cost you just 2 EUR per direction. It is a very short trip, max 10 minutes.
- Renting a car, scooter, or motor. Expect to pay a huge deposit of 700 EUR.
Bus from Fabrika to Nammos?
What’s the catch? Fabrika is the main bus station in Mykonos town that connects with popular beaches and places in Mykonos. Another bus station is Old Port, also popular, and connects some beaches and villages on the island.
However, if you carefully look at the bus schedule, you will see that there is no bus connection to Nammos village. Then, many tourists think a taxi is the only way to get there.
They are wrong.

Go to Fabrika bus station
Reach Fabrika bus station. Usually by walking. By a ticket at the kiosk or on the bus for 2 EUR. All buses are good and equipped with air conditioning.
Take a bus to Platis Gialos. You have buses for Platios Gialos every 30 minutes, from 7.40 AM to 3.15 PM.
After a few minutes od driving, you will reach the bus stop for Nammos village. You can ask a driver, but you will see a small advertisement for the restaurant D’angelo. This is where you get off the bus.
Walk for 5 minutes to Nammos Village
Then continue walking down the street for 5 minutes to reach the village. Be careful, it can be slippery.
However, Nammos is beautiful and you will enjoy it.
Tips for Nammos Village
A few tips and remarks for Nammos Village.
Shops, restaurants, and beach bars are open from 11 AM. So, if you are a morning person and want to avoid the summer heat and go there early, everything will be closed. Prepare yourself and go later during the day. It works every day.
If you don’t have a reservation for the beach club or restaurant, don’t expect to enter. Everything is booked in advance.
If you choose a taxi, expect to pay at least 40 EUR if you are lucky enough.
Uber in Mykonos
Uber is available in Mykonos, but you will never get a car. Simply, it is impossible. I tried a lot of times but was unsuccessful.
